CANDLES
1. What sizes do your candles come in?
Our candles are available in 4oz black matte tins for a petite, cozy burn, perfect sample or gift sizes; or 10oz glass matte black jars for a longer, more immersive experience.
2. What kind of wax do you use?
Natural soy-coconut wax blend that burns cleanly and evenly, perfect for setting the mood in any space, much healthier option than paraffin wax.
3. What type of wicks do you use?
All of our candles feature eco-friendly wooden wicks that create a soft, crackling flame; ideal for rituals, meditation, or simply filling your room with atmosphere.
4. What fragrances are in your candles?
Our scents are crafted from a blend of fragrance oils, essential oils, and enfleurage oils, giving each candle a layered, complex aroma.
5. How long will my candle burn?
4oz tin: approximately 15–20 hours
10oz jar: approximately 60–70 hours
Burn times can vary depending on environment and burn practices.
6. How should I care for my candle/candle issues?
When lighting a wood wick candle the first time, leave lit for 2-3 hours so it creates a good melt pool. After that, just make sure to give your candles a nice long burn every so often to “reset” the wax memory and prevent any tunneling. This will keep your candle looking great, smelling great, and most importantly, burning evenly.
If you have trouble lighting your candle, trim the burnt black off the wood wick with clippers, but keep it at least 1/8" long. If the candle won't stay lit because of tunneling and it's drowning in the wax, use a paper towel to soak up some of the wax around the wick so it has room to breathe again, then once it's lit, leave it for a couple of hours to help the melt pool reach the edges again so it doesn't tunnel further.
7. Are your candles safe?
Yes! We use non-toxic, natural ingredients, and our wooden wicks are free of harmful chemicals. Always burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface and away from flammable objects. The herbs and botanicals on top are safe, as the melt pool will coat them and keep them safe from the flame.
8. Can I reuse the candle jar?
Once your candle has burned down, the tins or glass jars can absolutely be cleaned and reused for herbs, charms, or your own magical creations. Always reduce, reuse, recycle when possible.
APOTHECARY ITEMS
1. What are your apothecary items made of?
All of our apothecary products are crafted with essential oils and botanical oils, carefully blended to create aromatic, effective products.
2. How should I use your oils and herbs?
Oils are intended for aromatherapy, ritual use, or topical application.
3. How should I store apothecary items?
Keep products in a cool, dark place away from sunlight to preserve potency and fragrance.
4. Are your apothecary products safe?
Yes! All products are cruelty-free, non-toxic, and crafted with intention. Always check ingredient lists if you have allergies, and if you generally have sensitive skin.
5. Can I request custom blends?
Absolutely! Contact us to discuss your vision, and we can create a custom candle or ritual blend tailored to your needs.
PRODUCTION & SHIPPING
1. How long does it take for my order to ship?
All candles are made-to-order and require a few days after production to cure before shipping. During the busier fall and winter holiday months, production may take up to 2 weeks. Apothecary items typically ship within 2-5 business days.
2. How long will shipping take?
Standard USPS delivery generally takes 3–5 business days, depending on your location.
3. Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we only ship within the United States due to new unfortunate tariff laws, but hoping that will change in the near future.
4. Can I cancel or change my order?
Orders can be canceled within 24 hours of purchase. After that, changes may not be possible since products are made-to-order.
5. What if my order is lost or damaged?
Please contact us immediately. We’ll replace damaged items or work with USPS for lost packages.
